Description
Have you played around with macros but aren’t sure how to best take advantage of them? Would you like to learn more about macros beyond the favorites you use all the time? Are you ready to try more powerful macros to speed up your editing?
This webinar is for editors who want to get more out of macros. It is structured around the editorial workflow and demonstrates different macros that can be useful at various stages of editing, including two workhorse find-and-replace macros, FRedit and MultiSwitch. By the end of the class, you will have learned more about how macros can work for you and will have a set of macros ready to use on your next project.
Please note: This webinar assumes you know how to install and run macros and have some experience using them. If you’re new to macros, we recommend watching Demystifying Macros: A Beginner’s Guide first. (It’s free for EFA members!)
This presentation is based on a free library of nearly 800 macros designed specifically for editors by Paul Beverly, an editor in the UK. No programming skills are required.
For over 20 years, Jennifer Yankopolus has edited architecture and design books and helped design firms create documents that enhance their brand.
