Based on the results of a meeting availability survey that went out to all EFA members in Michigan at the end of March, our chapter’s new meeting day will be the third Friday of every month. Meetings will be held via Zoom (with some in-person meetings possible this year) during the same time as always, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Eastern.

Though Friday wasn’t the first choice for most, 75% of respondents said they would be able to attend meetings on Friday afternoons, so this accomplishes the goal of choosing a meeting day that works for most of our members.

More than half of the survey respondents have never attended a chapter meeting before but said they would like to if the new meeting day fits their schedule, so I hope this change means we get to see some new faces!
