I have been writing and editing for over three decades—everything from bookseller catalogs to financial product pamphlets, video commercial scripts to full-length novels. I bring broad-based knowledge and interests to my writing, and can boil down complex concepts into clear, effective communication. As an editor I strive for straightforward, well-organized language without sacrificing the style of the writer, using standard guides like The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) as well as in-house style guides. I work well in both independent and team environments.
I am currently the editor and proofreader at Write Women Publish in Laurel, Maryland, while also seeking freelance editing or writing work.
