I am passionate about using words to create precise and impactful language. I hold a Professional Writer’s certificate and a B.A. in English from California State University, Long Beach. As a recent graduate, I have interned and built an academic portfolio. I’m looking for an entry-level position or internship to launch an editing and writing career.
My professional-level projects include a volunteer handbook, journal biographies, social media blurbs, content writing, research, and PowerPoint presentations among others. My academic training includes professional editing, grant and proposal writing, technical writing, content writing, search engine optimization, and document design.
I use the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs and Drive for work, but am interested in learning other programs. I am comfortable with online collaboration. I have advanced academic experience with MLA and APA.
