Sarah Ross
I am a Baltimore-based editorial freelancer, working primarily on academic and professional writing.
I received my PhD from Johns Hopkins in English Literature in 2021, after completing a program where I also served as Managing Editor for English Literary History (ELH) between Summer 2016–Summer 2021. During that time, I also taught several courses on composition and developmental editing/revision, research methods, and non-traditional creative scholarship. Since 2020, I have created and coordinated the Blast Courses in the Humanities program (sponsored by the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute), offering free online short-form courses to the public on topics showcasing how humanities-based inquiry and practice can benefit us all in our daily lives.
