I specialize in editing books and journals for university presses and other academic publishers. I also work with authors to prepare manuscripts for publication with publishers, and with authors who will self-publish.
My in-house experience as a production editor, working on manuscripts from the author’s hands to the printer’s, has taught me the importance of a clean, consistently edited manuscript for the entire production schedule. As an independent editor, I provide careful, consistent editing to university presses, associations, and authors. I hold a BA in English with a concentration in language, writing, and rhetoric, awarded by the University of Maryland, College Park.
