I specialize in developmental editing and back-of-the-book indexes for humanities scholars and students. Most of my clients write about media, gender, sexuality, rhetoric, performance, age/generation, race and ethnicity, and social justice. I also provide copyediting, fact-checking, proofreading, and DEI+ reviews.
I hold a Ph.D. in Media Studies and a Master’s Portfolio in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and I am a member of the American Society for Indexing. I am also a published scholar, peer reviewer, and member of the board for Console-ing Passions International Conference. I have worked in publishing, archives, and higher-ed teaching and administration, and I started BLUE Indexing and Editorial Services in 2018.
