I have experience editing short stories and novels in fantasy, soft sci-fi, speculative fiction, mystery, romance (fantasy, contemporary, and historical), and general non-fiction, for adult, young adult, and juvenile audiences. I do copy and line editing on various levels from the basic clean-up to the comprehensive rewrite. I also do a special word-reduction edit meant to cut your word count while preserving the story and your voice, which includes my heaviest level of line editing.

I do book formatting for ebook and/or print, using Vellum. Prices vary depending on length and project complexity.

I do have a PG-13-or-less requirement. (I don’t edit/format R- or X-rated work.) This is true for sex, violence, AND language. If you aren’t sure if your book would qualify, please talk to me first.

My background experience includes the family sciences and homeschooling.
