Mari Ann Stefanelli is the founder and executive director of The Writer’s High®, LLC, which provides writing, editing, and coaching services to authors and corporate clients. She specializes in developmental editing for creative nonfiction, especially memoir, as she loves helping authors find their voice. She also created The Writer’s High Retreat®, an annual weekend writing retreat dedicated to nurturing writers in an inspiring, bucolic setting. The event has featured literary luminaries, including the New York Times bestselling authors Winston Groom, Cassandra King, Patti Callahan Henry, and Joshilyn Jackson. Mari Ann’s writing and events have been featured in Boom magazine, Writers in the Storm blog, Deep South, and others. She’s currently working on writing-related anthology. In addition, Mari Ann has more than a decade of experience in the public relations field, where she worked for a national nonprofit, a boutique firm, and a well-known New York agency. Mari Ann is committed to sharing her knowledge and provides pro bono public relations services for The 70273 Project and is the co-coordinator for the EFA’s Georgia Chapter.
