The Reading List
During my time as an editor at HarperCollins, I learned the art of editing from some of the most respected people in publishing, worked one-on-one with authors to make their work the best reflection of their talent, and in concert with the publishing team I helped bring these books to a wide audience. The books I’ve collaborated on have been New York Times best-sellers, multiple award winners, and international successes. While at HarperCollins, I also studied copyediting, proofreading, and brand communication at the New School University in New York, where I went on to receive my MFA in writing. For five years, I served on the board of the Editorial Freelancers Association.
I’m currently the Editorial Director of the Reading List, where I work with a team of expert editors to provide authors, publishers, and businesses with impeccable writing and editing services. Our clients benefit from having a dedicated project manager, and our collaborative approach means we assemble a dream team tailored to each project’s needs and focus. Members of the Reading List team have published books via Simon & Schuster, DaCapo, Lonely Planet, UNC Press, Moon Guides, and others, and their writing has appeared in the New York Times, VICE, the Atlantic, the Daily Beast, Smithsonian magazine, the Iowa Review, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere.
