Kristin Clark Taylor is an award-winning author, journalist, editor, and communications strategist.
A seasoned journalist: Kristin is a founding member of USA Today‘s original creation and launch team, and she currently serves on USA Today‘s Board of Contributing Editors, where her essays appear frequently. Her work has also appeared in The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, The Chicago Tribune, The Detroit Free Press, and many other major publications. She was recognized in June 2022 by the National Society of Newspaper Columnists for her outstanding essays.
An award-winning author and editor: Kristin’s first four books were published by Random House/Doubleday and Penguin/Berkley. She is also a sought-after ghostwriter and editor who collaborates closely with CEOs, thought leaders, and visionaries in a way that amplifies their voices and creates impactful change.
A communications strategist: Kristin provides strategic counsel to corporations, non-profits, and individuals who value her experiential wisdom and collaborative energy. In the political arena, Taylor worked as a top White House communications strategist under President George H.W. Bush Sr., who appointed her White House Director of Media Relations, the first black woman to ever hold the post.
