I’m a professional writer and editor with nearly 20 years experience in business-to-business publishing. The former editor of Plumbing & Mechanical magazine, a national monthly publication for plumbing and heating contractors, I am now working on various freelance and contract projects in marketing, trade journalism, web editing and nonprofit writing.
Previously, I spent nearly 10 years at a publishing firm specializing in business and tax law, where I wore many hats — proofreader, writer/editor for a daily tax publication, and Internal Revenue Code editor.
That seems to be standard operating procedure in B2B publishing these days, which has honed my skills — my exceptional eye for detail, the ability to think strategically, solve problems and make practical decisions. My philosophy for success lies in my enthusiasm for life-long learning.
