Fledgling Editorial
Hello! I’m Kate. I’m on a mission to make high-quality thought leadership an accessible and empowering strategy for every powerhouse executive, founder, creative, and advocate who has incredible knowledge to share. I offer strategy, editorial, and ghostwriting services for thought leaders across business, science, and the arts, and specialize in long-form art and science storytelling. I believe that the best writing finds new ways to connect and collaborate with people – some of my favorite collaborations include:
- Helping multidisciplinary research teams pitch to the UN;
- Bringing the insights and poetry of a MacArthur Genius Award winner to a Big 10 university;
- Activating the art and science know-how of NASA artists in a contemporary art institution;
- Ghostwriting content and books with CEOs disrupting professional services, healthcare, chemical and material science, and more.
I hold a Ph.D. in English from Michigan State University, with an emphasis on histories of science and technology. Prior to freelancing, I spent 15 years in academia as a teacher, scholar, editor, and curator. I have also worked extensively with scientific, technical, and medical startups as an early-stage content marketer. If you have a complex art or science story to share, give me a shout.
