A former newspaper copyeditor and high school English teacher, I now enthusiastically collaborate with publishing organizations and independent authors to strengthen their manuscripts. I provide highly detailed feedback that honors the author’s voice. I am neurodivergent and queer, so I’m especially excited to work with marginalized and new authors who could benefit from a coach and cheerleader. I specialize in copyediting and proofreading. I additionally offer and greatly enjoy manuscript assessments, developmental editing, and line editing. I am primarily seeking genre fiction projects, especially fantasy, romance, LGBTQ+, or all three combined. I also enjoy editing memoir, literary fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, instructional/self-help nonfiction, and professional writing, though I am always open to considering other projects.
