I fell in love with writing after a lesson in adjectives in a cramped third-grade classroom in the 1980s. Since then, I’ve written whenever and whatever I can – features, executive profiles, newspaper articles, blog posts, prose essays, poetry, press releases, rock band bios, sales collateral, executive speeches, patient brochures, annual reports and research theses.

I’m passionate about creating compelling content that’s simple, targeted and strategic. As a former newspaper reporter, I instinctively know what’s newsworthy – and what isn’t. Wrestling words into polished, tight copy isn’t just an interest; it’s my mission.

I hold a master’s degree in corporate communications and a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis on creative writing. I’m a former fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development. My other interests include reading, music, photography, travel, cooking, gardening, craft beer and fine food.
