With over 16 years of proofreading and copy editing mostly non-fiction (and loving it!), I started out when a copy editor friend needed help proofreading long reference lists for medical textbooks. Through her support and mentorship, I learned copy editing. The subjects I work in range from medical/sociological texts to environmental, spy novels, and engineering certification manuals. When I’m not working, I’m either gardening or playing with/training my doggies, Benji and Freddi.
