Page Two Editorial

Do you have an idea that offers something new and fresh to the literary world? Do you want to bring your manuscript to the next level–without changing your unique style?

I am an editor, literary coach, ghostwriter, and speaker with almost two decades of experience helping bestselling authors, business influencers, entrepreneurs, emerging writers, and memoirists tell their story. My style is collaboration, not correction–promoting strong writing and good storytelling while preserving the integrity of each author’s voice.

As co-executive emeritus of the Editorial Freelancers Association, I was involved in long-range development for the organization and its volunteer-based programs and initiatives. I was also conference committee chair for our national conference in Chicago in August 2019 and am chairing the conference committee for our 2022 conference (Alexandria, Virginia). I regularly advocate for education and opportunities for freelance editorial professionals in the publishing industry. I am also a member of the Creativity Coaching Association and am involved in my community through the Maryland Chamber of Commerce and Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce.

New client availability: I am accepting new writing/editing coaching clients beginning in April 2023, new editing clients (developmental, substantive, and line editing) for April 2023 onward, and ghostwriting clients for September 2023 onward.

Current manuscript wishlist: I’m keen to work with manuscripts that stand out from the rest, particularly speculative fiction/sci-fi/fantasy, thrillers, YA, new adult, women’s fiction, literary fiction, and memoir.

Speaking availability: I’m open to regional conferences or workshops in the Washington-Baltimore or NYC metropolitan areas and national conferences or larger workshops/retreats within North America. Areas of focus include memoir development, self-editing with an editor’s eye, book mapping and the revisions process, worldbuilding in sci-fi/fantasy, and making a career out of your passion by freelancing. During the pandemic, I’m available for online conferences/writer’s group meetings worldwide.
