Chelsea is a full-time freelance editor. Previously, she was lead editor at BHC Press. Across her work with BHC Press and also Oghma Creative Media, as well contract freelance work for other publishing houses and independent authors, she has edited a wide array of material, including memoirs, cookbooks, and business books; however, the majority of material she edits is fiction. She is especially equipped to edit fantasy, science fiction, contemporary fiction, contemporary romance, women’s fiction, mystery/thriller, YA, and memoir. Chelsea is a meticulous line editor with a passion for polishing and a keen eye for continuity issues that have slipped through the cracks. In the development stage, she’s known to ask many questions and provide more feedback than typical. Going above and beyond is her MO.

All of Chelsea’s editing roles have been performed remotely. She is experienced communicating virtually and is accustomed to the back-and-forth required between author and editor when working on a manuscript.
