I specialize in historical fiction and fantasy- writing and editing. My passion extends to eras before the 1800s, but I love all stories with a complex protagonist, past or present. As a skilled researcher, I have a trained eye for checking facts and making sure stories are free of common anachronisms and errors. With a degree in English with a concentration in creative writing and a history minor (currently pursuing my MFA), my imagination brims with ideas to conquer plot holes and elevate conflicts, allowing for a deep connection between reader and character. After taking editing courses from EFA, SCC, and Editcetera, I enjoy focusing on developmental and line editing for genres ranging from sci-fi to fantasy. I will have your back every step of the way.
