Formerly of Simon & Schuster, I’m a bestselling book collaborator, award-winning editor, and expert publishing consultant who loves using her insider knowledge of the publishing industry and wealth of experience to lead serious authors toward publishing success. Since 1999, I’ve supported authors on their publishing journey and take pride in serving as their books’ best ally.
Leveraging a background in “Big Five” publishing, I lead a team that shares my mission: to help make great books happen, whether that means showing a writer how to improve a manuscript, get an agent, or self-publish; guiding an indie author through the publishing process; or coaching an author on how to sell more books. The Writer’s Ally editorial team is skilled with nonfiction, fiction, and memoir for audiences ranging from children to middle-grade to young adult and adult across multiple genres.
