I’m a voracious reader and freelance editor who is passionate about the world of independent publishing. I have a B.A. in English from St. Bonaventure University. I’ve worked for nearly two decades as an editor for academic journals and freelance authors. I’m a published poet, and a member of the Linguistic Society of America.
My preferred genres are: non-fiction, biographies and memoirs, literary fiction, mystery, urban fantasy, and fantasy.
As a mental health advocate, I also have experience with mental health issues, including but not limited to: ADD/ADHD; OCD; bipolar disorder; dissociative identity disorder and other dissociative disorders, C-PTSD and trauma recovery; personality disorders (borderline, antisocial, narcissitic).
I will not edit works with rascist, homophobic, biphobic, or transphobic themes.
I currently live in Virginia with my husband, son, and a veritable zoo of assorted animals. My hobbies include knitting, kayaking, camping, and tabletop gaming.
