Chicagoland Chapter :: Make Selling Easy—Without Getting Sleazy
Does the idea of closing a sale make you want to take a bath? Do you get to the end of sales calls only to forget your well-practiced pitch? Sales-avoidance is REAL and it isn’t your fault. You’ve been sold to terribly! But there is a way to sell that is 100% in line with your personality and your values.
Join us June 26 when Annie P. Ruggles, founder of The Non-Sleazy Sales Academy and Quirk Works Consulting, walks us through how to sell your services without getting sleazy.
In this workshop, we’ll reframe the four main myths of selling:
- The truth about sales: Does it have to be so dang manipulative? (Spoiler: heck no.)
- The truth about you: How to protect and amplify your best qualities while selling!
- The truth about sales scripts: The real reason that snazzy swipe file you paid for or high-paid training isn’t paying off.
- The truth about “no”: How to navigate quick nos, long maybes, rejection, hesitation, and objections.
Annie is an internationally recognized marketing and sales fixer for overdelivering entrepreneurs. Over the past 13 years, she’s handheld hundreds of founders through creative slumps, marketing fatigue, launches, and rebrands. Her specialty is amplifying founders’ uniqueness as the ultimate differentiator. Annie’s mission is to liberate folks from industry standards and “shoulds” to create resonant, competitionless marketing that converts.
The meeting will be held on Zoom, starting at 5:30 p.m. Central Time. Registration is both limited and required, but meetings are open to all EFA members, their guests, and those with a guest membership. Guests are limited to two meetings a calendar year. Register here.
