Chicagoland Chapter :: Is This Thing On? Podcasting 101 for Freelance Editors
Have you ever thought about starting your own podcast? Or perhaps you’re unsure about how a podcast can fit into your business? Tara Whitaker will answer these questions and more during her Oct. 25 presentation, “Is This Thing On? Podcasting 101 for Freelance Editors.”
Tara will discuss her strategy on how she launched a podcast alongside her freelance editing business. She’ll share how she defined the podcast’s purpose, found her ideal listener and niche, chose a format, figured out startup costs, and more. She’ll also include some of the lessons she’s learned over the past year since starting her podcast and what she would do differently.
