Academic Editing April Coffee Chat: Style Sheets
A good style sheet can be an invaluable tool for an editor, capturing style and other editorial decisions in one place for quick reference. But the benefits may not outweigh the time cost on every project. Register to join the Academic Editing Chapter’s April Coffee Chat on Tuesday, April 9, at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT, where we will discuss how and when we create and use these tools as academic editors. If you’ve ever wondered about:
- the pros (and cons) of style sheets
- key sections to include
- the purpose of style guides vs. style sheets
- when you should share style sheets with clients
- how to store and keep track of project style sheets
. . . or if you want to get other editors’ opinions on another aspect of the topic, please, join us!
