First and foremost, if you have not yet had a chance to finalize your Member Profile/Directory Listing on our new website, there is no time like the present.  The Member Directory is regularly searched by clients looking to hire, and it’s one of the top ways members connect with new clients through the EFA. For the new website, we’ve greatly expanded and reorganized the old skills and specialties categories and added new categories to search on as well, to make it even easier for clients to find you.

Sign in and then go to My Account/Profile Editor to update your listing now! And while you’re there, make sure you are signed up for the Job List and all the other EFA communications bringing you the latest on running a business, building a network, and sharpening your skills.

Then check out the Member Area for all of your member benefits and resources for freelance success. Consider volunteering. The EFA depends on the donated skills and time of committed members to run the organization. And being a volunteer is a great way to network with peers and to meet potential new clients–all while having a good time.
