Searching for your “A-ha!” moment? Let it find you!
CHRISTINE G. ADAMO is on a quest to answer the age-old question: Who in their right mind would write, revise, edit or proofread for a living? (Let alone tackle layout and design work?) Uh, she would! Standing gigs for this F/T freelance business owner — aka independent writer, editor and designer — include: Managing Editor at StepMom Magazine, occasional Copy Editor for National Academies of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine and trusted Technical Writer & Editor to 501(c)(3) nonprofits like School Empowerment Network, Boys & Girls Club chapters and others.
Formerly a Co-Owner, Editor-in-Chief & Art Director of Digital Unicorn Magazine in print and online Christine helps everyone from B2B, B2C and individual clients worldwide broadcast their awesomeness by refining their focus and reach via written and visual communication tools. She launched Write Revise Edit in 2006 after working her way up from Staff Reporter, Arts Critic and Magazine Art Director to full-scale Newspaper Editor. This proud EFA member supports her local PBS-affiliates, independent publications, theatres and other agencies that foster connection.
As pro bono Director of Communications & Marketing, she led RochesterFilmFest.org through an amazing 60th season! A decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran (E-5 | Sgt.) who served in the Persian Gulf War, Christine runs a wildly popular service business certified in several government contract categories: Woman-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Disadvantaged Small Business. Client feedback includes:
- “Wow, I love it!”
- “Great job–once again!”
- “Thank you, Christine. You’re amazing!”
