For those going through tough economic times, I’ve helped (sometimes on a volunteer basis) candidates perfect their resumes and cover letters. I fine-tune their resumes and cover letters to fit the job they’re applying for.

I offer manuscript evaluations of short stories or novels. I give you a detailed review and provide suggestions for improvement. The report can run several pages.
I am comfortable editing technical material (examples include engineering, legal, medical, financial, and science text) and can edit to whatever style is needed. I create style sheets and keep detailed notes on jobs for future reference.
I have volunteered for the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) in several capacities, such as a co-coordinator of the Los Angeles Area chapter, for the Welcome Program, as a Member at Large and the Membership chairperson for the EFA Board of Governors, and as a committee member for the Publications and Chapter Development committees.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels and memoirs and writing short stories. I hope to eventually write a novel. Of course I can’t ignore my precious cats. They bring me comfort and give me comic relief.
