I am an avid reader of biographies, fiction, history, and historical fiction, and have served as a docent at the Smithsonian Institution for 20 years. I work at the National Museum of Natural History, and I give tours of the gardens that surround the Smithsonian castle building and museums along the National Mall, where I discuss the history and architecture of Washington’s great buildings.
