Change It Up Editing and Writing Services

I work with traditional publishers, self-publishing authors, and independent book packagers on nonfiction subjects ranging from parenting, spirituality, and relationships to memoirs, alternative medical treatments, and self-help. I also assist authors with reality-based novels as well as more traditional fiction genres. I specialize in helping nonfiction authors polish their book proposals as well as blogs and articles for sites like Psychology Today, MindBodyGreen, Huffington Post, and Medium.

My strength as an editor is in my ability to home in on writing weaknesses and help each writer convey his or her message in the most powerful way possible, regardless of the subject matter, while maintaining the author’s unique voice.

In addition to coaching authors, I provide nonfiction manuscript evaluations and edit book proposals, articles, and blogs. Whether helping an author organize ideas before writing begins or during the writing process, I love the collaborative effort that results in a well-written manuscript. Fine-tuning details such as spelling, punctuation, syntax, word choice, and organization of ideas, proofreading for errors in a manuscript before or after typesetting, evaluating what works and what doesn’t in a manuscript—these are all aspects of editing at which I excel. I’d love to discuss your project with you to see how I might be of help! Please download my resume for a list of published projects I’ve worked on, and I invite you to visit my website at http://changeitupediting.com to learn more.
