North Texas Chapter: Not Your Mama’s Spellcheck: Determining Whether AI Is the Write Tool for You
“Turn your draft novel into a bestseller.”
“Take the guesswork out of great writing.”
“A beta reader you don’t have to bribe with chocolate.”
Automated grammar checkers and AI writing programs make big promises to writers, but are they true?
This presentation—covering Grammarly, ProWritingAid, AutoCrit, and Fictionary—will explore what these programs do, what they don’t do, and how professional editors can set themselves apart to gain clients. You’ll leave this webinar with an understanding of how editing is being shaped by digital and AI tools and where editors fit into the bigger picture.
This meeting will be held Saturday, April 27 at 2 p.m. CT via Zoom. Click the link below to RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
