Victoria Wroblewski

The Inkhorn Editor

Copy editing, line editing, and proofreading services for traditionally and self-published authors.

First things first: I do not know why my picture is sideways. Every photo of myself that I put up is like it, so I gave up. Now, on to more important things:

I am a young and driven editor in the process of transitioning into being a full-time freelancer. I completed my BA and MA in English at Rutgers University, Camden and spent most of my time focusing on writing and literary analysis. I am an avid and omnivorous reader of various genres, including YA, fantasy, horror, and historical fiction with the occasional layman’s theology book thrown in (I will admit a slight bias toward fiction over non-fiction).

I have copyedited several thrillers by the self-published author CW Browning. In May of 2024, I completed the University of Chicago’s Editing Certificate program and earned my certificate in editing. Though prepared to work in various style guides, I am most familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). I do most of my editing on Microsoft Word employing tracked changes.

I am extremely detail-oriented and strive to edit with sensitivity to the author’s style and intentions. It’s your story; I’m just here to help you polish it up for the readers! In that vein, I make the effort to be as encouraging and clear as possible in my comments and edits so that you know what’s going on and maintain your control of the text.

If you’d like to learn more about me and my experience, check out my website https://inkhorneditor.com or my LinkedIn page: www.linkedin.come/in/victoria-wroblewski. You can reach me through the contact page on my site if you want to chat about your project!
