Sherry Clark
As a freelance editor, I am excited to collaborate with authors and writers on what they are passionate about! I have experience working with both independent and represented fiction and nonfiction authors, as well as professional technical-content writers. I have also edited copy for a small traditional publishing house and a large trade publisher. Editor-author collaboration is all about working together to refine the material until we form it into its best possible version.
Additionally, my experience includes collaborating with a small team to deliver case studies, blog posts, email text, and social media posts. I am ready to put all this experience to work for my clients, whether they are business clients or individuals.
My goal while editing is to enhance the writer or brand voice to promote reader engagement. I copyedit (punctuation is a language all its own) and line edit (sentences can be magical). I perform other services as well, including manuscript evaluations and developmental edits.
