She is the owner of Word Cat Editorial Services and believes that the best editing combines balance and deliberation, passion and purpose. Brittany is the co-director of the EFA’s Diversity Initiative Welcome Program.
Linda Ruggeri is a freelance nonfiction editor specialized in memoir (historical, family, medical, professional, travel, cultural). Linda has worked with traditional publishers, self-published authors, and is skilled in all aspects of the publishing process. She is the co-author of Stepping into Rural Wisconsin, co-coordinator of the EFA-LA Chapter, co-director of the EFA’s Welcome Program, and a serial Instagrammer. Based out of Los Angeles, Linda holds a Communication and Fine Arts Degree from Loyola Marymount University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. When she’s not editing, Linda is reading, tending to her vegetable garden, teaching her son to bake, and mentoring new writers and editors.
