Revision Division
I am a freelance editor with Revision Division. Most of my experience is aligned with my interest in Romance, Women’s Fiction, Mystery, Suspense, and Psychological Thrillers. In addition to my experience as a developmental editor of fiction, I have certifications in copy editing and project management. My clients rave about my helpful suggestions while appreciating my respect for their style and voice.
My developmental edits provide solutions to pace, plot, character development, and point of view problems via edits in manuscript as well as a revision summary of most important areas to address. I aim to help improve your writing via positive feedback where you’re nailing it as well as help with constructive criticism.
When copy editing, I correct spelling, grammar, usage, capitalization, punctuation, and provide suggested changes for consistency and repetition problem areas.
I’m happy to answer questions about writing and editing but beware as I can also go on at length about my passions: reading, running, and volunteering. These activities are not usually performed simultaneously but they do all relate to my work.
