The 2019 EFA Conference, taking place August 21–23, 2019 at the Swissôtel Chicago, will feature stellar speakers and sessions you will not want to miss! Louise Harnby, line editor, copyeditor, and proofreader (pictured above), will be delivering Thursday’s keynote address, “To Visibility and Beyond: Building Trust, Getting Work, and Saving Time.” Louise specializes in working with independent authors of commercial fiction, particularly crime, thriller, and mystery writers. Her portfolio also includes the Pulitzer Prize winner A Visit from the Goon Squad. She was a recipient of the 2017 Judith Butcher Award from the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
