The EFA Board of Governors is pleased to announce EFA's group page on LinkedIn. This group offers you another marketing and networking venue. It is not a discussion group.
Doing your part to promote the EFA presence on LinkedIn is therefore a key step to promoting your own business. To join this group, you must be an EFA member:
- log on to LinkedIn
- find the EFA group by searching for "Editorial Freelancers Association"
- request membership
- after your membership is approved, visit the EFA group page
- select the My Settings tab
- ensure that the Group Logo option under Visibility Settings is checked
- talk up the group, encouraging your friends to invite their friends to take these same steps
LinkedIn has proven a powerful networking and advertising tool for businesses and organizations like ours as well as individuals.
